Holi or Phagwa
Holi is a festival of joy and unity. It is the last festival in the Hindu calendar, 15 days after Holi the Hindu new year begins with the first day of the Navraatri. Holi is for everyone, there is no division, the only discipline that we have lost with the passage of time is that it was gender based. Males were only allowed to celebrate with males and ladies celebrated with ladies. The reason for this is obvious.
Today the world is faced with the threat of the deadly Corona Virus, everyone is afraid with good reason. The ‘abeer’ used to play Holi was made with Ayurvedic materials that prevented a person from getting any Virus or skin ailments.
